We are going ahead and trying oxypowder to clear up 's acute constipation because I had been told to use it on him by his doctor and we had already ordered it. When I put in the glycerin suppository, it does not absorb. When giving the oxypowder, will pretty quickly have pure liquid diarrhea and it just pushes the suppository out whole. The doctor said to use either glycerin suppository or pediatric fleet enema to clear blockage from below but it does not seem to be working from below. (have not tried enema yet) But the oxypowder is doing something from above. We gave him two capsules at bedtime with 8 ounces of water.

has had some pure liquid BMs since we started oxy powder yesterday. Things are moving but no solids. What are other's experiences using this? How long does it take to clear a blockage?Dana and Garrett, just turned 4, SCD 2 yearsCeliac, ASD, Speech and Motor Apraxia, sensory processing disorder
