How I got here?

My name is Sharon Gourlay. I am new to this group. The road I have

traveled the past few years has been very bumpy. I have taken some

detours but somehow I finally ended up perfectly where I am supposed

to be.

I lost my grandmother, father, and then my angel son all withing a

span of 6 months. My son's name was Niko. He was born premature at

26 weeks. He lived for two weeks in the NICU. And then passed away

when he had to be removed from the ventilators. He was having

seizures that came repeatedly every few minutes. Watching my son die

in my husbands capable strong arms was the hardest thing I ever have

had to deal with. Especially after being told I could never have

children. My father died on 1/25 and my son 2/25. It was all alot

to deal with. I went on to have a miscarriage after loosing Niko. I

thought that God hated me and that I would never have the family we

wanted.

Then miraculously I got pregnant. In order to maintain the pregnancy

I had to figure a way to get past my fears and release my grief. So

I went to my now mentor..... She is a hypnotherapist, Reiki

Master, and intuitive. Isn't it funny how we are lead to one another

for healing? She was able to help me grieve, release fears, gain

trust, and be able to birth a most beautiful daughter and

then later another daughter Isabella.

This where my interest in hypnosis, hypnobirthing, and reiki began.

I am now a hypnotherapist, hypnobirthing instructor, and learning

reiki. I have begun to work with mothers whom have lost their babies

due to miscarriage, neonatal loss, or stillbirth. They desperately

need grief counsel, fear release/stress management work, and other

things to help them with their journey to start families. It is my

calling. It is why my son came and put me on this path. So I

started my business called Sacred Beginning. I also work with other

mothers whom have never experienced a loss. It is such a blessing to

be invited in these families lives and help them produce miracles.

Recently I began networking on myspace and met Craig . He is

definitely someone I admire in my new world. I saw his posts about

humanity healing and felt this would be a good place for me to learn

and possibly help others.

So here I am to soak up as much as my " mirrors " can offer and

possibly be a reflection to others.
