Here is a link with vitiligo FAQs. It's interesting that they highlight avoiding phenolic compounds, thyroid problems, and pernicious anemia. One thing they didn't mention

is achlorohydria-an absence of stomach acid, caused by the B12 deficiency. My son,

who has autism does not have vitiligo, but my"typical" daughter, who is showing signs

of auto-immune problems, does. B12, B6, GFCF,and avoiding phenolic foods normalized my son's development. High doses of coenzyme Q10 caused his numerous moles and

"birthmarks" to fade, then disappear.

,My daughter was born with vitiligo. What exactly did you do to help it? Thanks for your help. Re:Ibuprofen to reduce brain inflammation. .Now Cats Claw

Rey,The conditions that have told me that my son's problem are immune related is because last year when my son got his worst autistic symptoms he also developed a small Vitiligo stain in his behind. He was also getting Vitiligo in areas where he got cuts. Vitiligo is caused by an autoimmune reaction just like the brain inflammation. I didn't know that at the time, but I told everybody I was going to get the bottom of it. We took my son to a DAN doctor, which he still sees, and we did 40 session of hyperbaric oxygen therapy. In my research I found out that doctors were recommending before and after SPECT scans to measure improvement. Our first SPECT scan was a waste of money and time, because the hospital that did it didn't have the right SPECT scanner. For our second SPECT scan we went to see Dr. Uszler in California. Dr. Uszler referred us to Dr. Goldberg, prior to that time I didn't

know about Dr. Goldberg. After I read all of Dr. Goldberg's presentations and theory the Vitiligo problem my son has it made sense and we were able to put the pieces together. My son's Vitiligo stains in his cut areas are now completely fine after we started the DAN protocol which means the DAN protocol is also important. Now my son only has the original Vitiligo stain in his behind of the size of a dime.
