Guest guest
Thanks Steve, thats good to know,, When the nurse who taught our shot class before I started tx was talking about insurance and treatment meds, all she said was that if someone didnt have any insurance, they would provide the meds for free, but if someone had insuance and even if the copay was very very high, that would be too bad because they only give you the meds if you have no insurance at all, she didnt say anything about how much one makes or anything about someone having to pay for any of it,, guess times have changed,, lol Steve Bridgers wrote: Jackie, I had to submitt a tax return for 2005 and proof of medicare. I had a statement from my doctor and a prescription for the drugs. It took about two weeks for them to get back to me on my approval. Sometimes the amount of income plays a part of the base payment one can afford to pay for the drugs. But nearly all the cases I've heard of the drugs have been free. I don't know what the max is on the income or insurance base, but without their help, I would have been one who had to choose the treat or eat. Steve... Never miss a thing. Make Yahoo your homepage.
