I think night sweats may be a symptom of phenol intolerance. Maybe

look into the Feingold Diet.

Also, just a thought, some say how their children with autism don't

sweat and how it is good to sweat for detox through the skin. Maybe

it is somehow related to detox since he is sweating more with

chelation.

In our son this was viruses, parasites...bacteria and yeast may also be

a part of the picture, but I include those in a broad def of parasitic

infections...this stopped when we addressed - not totally cured, just

started getting it under control...all of the above. HEAD sweats while

nursing I believe have to do with yeast issues or undiagnosed parasite

infections. IF there is also teeth grinding - def parasites. Di

There was someone at the medical conference (someone

attending, not speaking) who was explaining why women have the night

sweats during their peri-menopause. She said it was the liver working

to hard to rid of toxins and that if you do things to help the liver

detox during the day and then do things to support and rest the liver

at night the sweats would go away. It was an interesting concept and

maybe applies here?

It's been like this ever since he was an infant.

It's even worse now that he's going through CaEDTA chelation.

What's causing this? Should I be concerned? Can this symptom (if it is

Major Night Sweats! Why?

My son had these incredible night sweats. It's as if someone threw a quart of water on the bed! Usually this happens for about 1-2 hours after he falls asleep, and then he dries off. I have to move him every night or else he's literally sleeping in a puddle of his own sweat. Ok, please tell me what's wrong if he tastes salty. My son goes

through this every 5-7 weeks. Then the following week is when he'll

have his crazy 107 degree fever-fest. He should have another in a

week or two. I'm gonna lick him and see, but wanted to know what is up.

IF they are salty this can be a sign of cysticfibrosis, I just don't want you in panic till you lick him. my son also had this issues as a baby, they had us lick him to see what was up, looking back it all started when he got metals in his vaccinations.... so it can also be he is desperatly trying to detox unsuccessfully, so doing some metal testing may be important

Head sweats also called rhoids I believe is def linked to yeast

overgrowth - Emma used to do it...cut all c carbs, starches, grains -

gad I sound like a broken record on this site, you must all be so

weary of me...but it works and it is TEMPORARY esp in a baby...feed

veggies , meats, good milk, scrambled eggs and egg yolk only

smoothies, good yogurt unsweetened with no fillers or additives...the

only grains or carbs we do is a tiny bit of rice cereal sometimes and

the half a slice of exekial toast, buttered, in the am or for a

special treat - no more weird sweats and the baby is THRIVING...just

have to figuyre out the teeth grinding thing and whether or not that

is a parasite issue as the HUmaworm folks suspect....Di

Hi Sue-

When I took my daughter to the naturopath, night sweats was one of the

questions for the initial assessment. When I asked what the

significance was, she explained that during sleep the body will switch

gears and take advantage of the quiet time to 'clean house.' (For most

people, this actually takes place between 2am and 3am.) The night

sweats are the body detoxing and getting rid of the toxins in the most

effective manner- sweating them out. It's a good thing, but does

indicate toxin overload.

Take care,
