What exactly Medicare A pays for kidney tx

Hi everyone! I was looking through booklet on medicare coverage for

dialysis/transplant and for the Medicare A portion which would pay for

transplant, hospital services there is a $992.00 deductible for 1-60

days in the hospital. I have a patient who has Medicare and their 2nd

insurance will not pay for kidney transplant. I want to explain to the

patient what their % of out of pocket expenses would be. How much

would that be solely from the Medicare A standpoint? Only $992.00 or

more? Thanks.
