Sad for the child but good that they are cracking down on this kind of thing.

She was charged yesterday under a provision in Idaho law that allows a first-degree murder charge when aggravated battery against a child under age 12 results in death. Police allege that Bott-Graham hurt Cameron Hamilton when she was treating him at her Pocatello home in November. Police say Bott-Graham returned Cameron to the day care in an unresponsive state. Cameron died in December of severe head trauma at Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City. It's Tax Time! Get tips, forms and advice on AOL Money Finance.

Mimi says;

This has been my issue all along-> there is no-one to trust. Not

doctors, schools, service providers, etc. My advice for parents has

been to document everything and always be there. That is what I have

done I took over working with Ravi i never drop him off anywhere but

school and I almost never have him watched. when we did have

educators in the home I was always there and I never left them

alone. There is no taking things for granted and as Raven has said

there is almost no way for a parent to be employed (and this is why)

You cannot trust your child to others, which is what leads parents to

being their childs dr, educator, therapist, best friend etc, and it

is sometimes the reason why i am so frightened of the future (this

world gives me no comfort for my son's life without me around.) All

the arguements are the wrong fights all the treatments are in an

effort to patent and secure intellectual property, all the

certifications are a quick fix effort to get trained people cheap

(they want the dollars not to help children) Everyone makes money,

and so why do anything pragmatic and all these efforts stand in the

way of hope and independance. Everyone's hands are dirty and it is

so difficult to make any sense of it. But this is not a case where

we can bury our heads in the sand, or point fingers. the ASD

community must as Tom and Raven and others are trying to do; lead the

way to offer pragmatic solutions for independance. I saw a

commerical for ADHD

http://www.adhdroadmap.com/ I have not seen anything but the

commerical, however it sounds hopeful rather than destructive. To

see a childs abilitys not as a disorder but as a path for viability,

and ability rather than keeping children in darkened dungeons and

writing them off. mimi
