Guest guest
Passing this on from another listserv: ************************************************ this year, we've had a few kids in our school diagnosed with dysphagia/swallowing disorders, and can no longer have thin liquids (which include jello, ice cream, ice pops....). my speech path found a thickened ice cream that thaws to a pudding consistancy, so its safe for kids who can have any consistancy that's pudding or thinner! two of my students had it during a recent ice cream party and they loved it! (i tried it, it really wasn't bad! if i didn't know, i would have thought it was extra creamy ice cream). anyway, its called magic cup, by hormel health labs. (no, i do'nt sell it, but i know it took our speech path a while to find safe ice cream, so i thought i'd share the info) http://www.hormelhealthlabs.com/products/dysphagia/magiccup/default.aspx __
