?? about PANDAS protocal & valtrex or augmentin..

I had a phone consult with Dr Kovacevic yesterday..He treats PANDAS

kids. He had spoken with my Kaiser Dr on how to treat my son. Dr K said

my son also needed to take 600mg daily of augmentin for 3 months and

then a weekly dose. I did feel that to treat PANDAS it sounds like IVIG

& anti-biotics are the key. I asked my Kaiser Dr for augmentin and he

said let's wait..So my DAN was talking about a trial of valtrex too and

now I am feeling like we have too much going on and what should be

tried first? My son did have some high viral ## so maybe valtrex first?

I'd like to find out if valtrex helped your kid ....
