Guest guest
Joan, this is fantastic! I have sent this to my Dercum group, too. I think I'll be a little more possessive of my spoons.. Guest guest
Ooooo, Sheila, I bookmarked this and will read the spoon theory for sure tomorrow, errr...lol today. It is something that I hear alot myself too my dear, but you don't look sick. We just have to do what needs to be done. For some people, not all, this is a " strange " concept, to be in pain or be ill and still be functioning. Hmm...I wonder who was the first person to coin the phrase. I think it had to be possibly someone lucky enough to have a pretty healthy body, mind, soul, life, money, etc...I jest but seriously, though I totally agree, why do we have to almost feel compelled to remind others of things our bodies just do not seem to cooperate with. Many questions spinning in my head. That is a good thing! Thank you much for this post and the link, dear! Love and light and hugs, LUNA > > Did you ever catch my post about the story of THE SPOON THEORY? It has made it so much easier for me to understand myself and for me to tell others how my life works, and how all of us struggle with invisible chronic illness. You can read it here (short story). http://www.butyoudontlooksick.com/the_spoon_theory/ > That whole website of " But you don't look sick " is really great! > Blessings, Sheila > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ > Only exceptional people get lupus or fibro. Guest guest
Is there any other way to open this than with PDF. I don't have that program to open it on my computer nor the room to download it due to my computer being so old. I would really love to read this. Everyone says how great it is and I am not able to read it. Any help would be so appreciated!!
