Guest guest
Yup! Grrrr. They are saying next weekend we could be doing this all over again for the storm with the I name (I forget it... On purpose) We boarded up every window, and only took down the ones off the porches. Rest are staying up till this is done. That was some work putting them up. Santa... I was a good girl, I just want permanent storm shutters all around. Forget diamonds and stuff.... Gimme storm shutters that just have to be closed. Putting up plywood is a pain ! Literally. Guest guest
Glad to hear you weathered the storm with minimal damage. I know what you mean about the storm shutters, we use plywood too and it looks like it may be coming out next week here in SE FL. Oh for those automatic shutters that close and open with the touch of a button! Then of course the built in whole house generator, with enough $$ for the gas to run it! ette --------- *[DownSyndromeInfoExchange] Re: We survived ! HI! Guest guest
Now your talking! I'm praying for you. Hurricanes are no fun at all. Will you stay or leave? I tell ya since Katrina they have got their evacuation stuff together. They moved out a lot of people without a hitch. It was very different than 3 yrs ago. Hopefully FLA has the same set up.
