Guest guest
Yeah, he does get C and mag. I'm thinking of using something even more "direct" like perhaps adding some Benefiber to his food? Re: Strange poo... are you giving magnesium or Vit C to help keep bowels moving? Have you tried home enemas? Gotta keep the bowels moving. Here that meant for a long period of time doing nightly enemas if the kids hadn't moved. >> Okay for all you poo experts out there... Just changed my son's > pullup. Guest guest
Nope, definitely not food. I'm thinking maybe parasite. The only food I've ever seen in his poo is nuts. He doesn't digest them very well. But that's not the case this time. Re: Strange poo... are you giving magnesium or Vit C to help keep bowels moving? Have you tried home enemas? Guest guest
well a poop culture will tell you what you need to know. Handley wrote: Nope, definitely not food. I'm thinking maybe parasite. Guest guest
You can order an o+p test through directlabs.com without a Dr if you want to do it sooner. You go to a local lab pick up the kit and bring it back. You get results within a few days. We did this. Very easy and a legit lab does the resting. Directlabs sent us to Labcorp. Our son did have a parasite problem and we were a bit shocked. Still wondering how he got it Re: Strange poo... are you giving magnesium or Vit C to help keep bowels moving? Guest guest
I would *not* add fiber. I would add Oxypowder (or a similar product), instead. CherylYeah, he does get C and mag. Guest guest
Sorry to jump in....but have you tried oxypowder?? My daughter really benefited from it. Handley wrote: Yeah, he does get C and mag.
