I have a patient who has a bleeding disorder that needs a full mouth

extraction before he is eligible for transplant. My patient has

Medicare and IPA. The doctors want to bring him in for a 23 hours

observation. Can anyone tell me if Medicare will cover this?

thanks

I have had experience that this was covered in the SPU or short procedure unit especially if the diagosis is acute oral infection
