Guest guest
I pray things are well now. I am still plowing through 500+ emails. Jules Romero -- RE: [DownSyndromeInfoEx change] Re: now...contrasting Obama and Palin RE: [DownSyndromeInfoEx change Sorry I think you are reading into my message since you think I oppose Palin and you oppose Obama. Of course any one in that office would have their children protected by Secret Service. My point, reread my message if needed, was that I don't think he (or his parents) will feel any of the things our children and we as parents do as we battle the system and that I hope she would see the real world of individuals with Ds and use her current position and/or any future positions to enhance the lifes of ALL individuals with Down sydrome. It had nothing to do with whether or not someone should vote for her but rather what I as a mother (that has SOME things in common with her - age, son with Ds, work full-time, etc) hope she will do since she has (and has potential for more) a position of power. Just the opinion of this person who resides in the minority on this list. This argument is a bit weak. If it is in's child or if it is Obama's child, they will have the same protection's of the secret service. So don't throw that around as a negative thing to not vote for in. > > I do respect the differing opinions and I'm not saying that my opinion > is the "right" one, BUT I didn't get the comparison of Obama vs Palin > either.
