HBOT does not kill the yeast, it just wake it up. If your son has

yeast and he is going through HBOT you are probably going to notice

that he is going to start laughing for not reason, that is a sign of

yeast waking up. I will start him on antifungal or natural agents to

help him get rid of the yeast. You can talk to your doctor about

nistatin or any other prescribing agent, or you can try giving him

garlic or saccharomyces boulardii and a lot a lot of water.

If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact

me. Also, did you test for yeast before???

Hope this helps...

Only diet and healing the immune system will eliminate yeast as the

body MAKES yeast in response to toxic burden and heavy metals...it is

a bodily defense mechanism gone awry in our poisened kids....food and

shot poisened...Di

not true, there are natural yeast fighters, meds to kill yeast ect....those don't "require" diet or fixing the immune system. yeast is in all bodies, but the ability to fight it off and keep the the gut in balence is thrown for a loop and not able to regulate related to the immune system yes....LDN and diflucan FINALLY got our yeast under control when diet didn't help ect. we now haven't had yeast issues in over a year or so. diflucan finally got it, the LDN helped it stick so to say. viral issues will make yeast flare as well as the body can only fight so much at one time

sorry, I didn't type that right...I meant only changes to a diet

suitable for your unique needs will ever keep the yeast away

permanently - I di not mean to imply that there are not many ways to

fight it. I still do not think HBOT in the absence of diet

modifications will help much with yeast or anything else, that is

all.

i am very new to all this, sorry but can you tell me what HBOT is and LDN? my sons have started the gfcf diet (some infractions here and there since i am still learning) lots of stimming behaviors still there but a little lang has inproved. one of my boys gets strange rashes on his legs and bottom areas. the docs say it's just dry skin or they don't know. the other has gotton a yeast infection when on antibiotics. i think they have possible yeast problems built up causing this and heard to clear that up to get a script of something. is there a dan doctor someone recommends? i have heard from another local

mom that she doesn't trust anyone of the local ones in Missouri. i am willing to consult and travel if necessary to anyone within usa. thanks!melanie

HBOT is hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Oxygen in a chamber

under pressure.

I'm three years into recovering my son. I have no idea what is the

right order and sequence for healing your boys. You will have to

follow your instincts and find a path that works for them.

My belief is for parents to do all they can to clean up their home

environment from soaps, shampoos, bug spray, cleanign products,

microwaves, FOOD, WATER, pesticides, fungicides. Take the stress

off the body and start to learn what good things will help to heal

the body. Develop a philosophy about what it will take to heal your

boys. Then you can research and find a DAN who you agree with.

Even the most talented DAN doc cannot help develop a plan unless Mom

and Dad or whomever is closest to the child are understanding what

the child needs. If they are your biological kids you hold a lot

of answers to their healing.

As I work to heal myself, I understand how to help my children.

What worked in our home to bring about this awareness and healing was

to learn about Body Ecology Diet.

We've laid a good foundation for over two years of daily consistency

and now we are applying biomedical. Now I know a lot about what's

available, and I know what I want from a DAN doctor.

Let me know how I can assist you in your journey futher. Best to you!

Hi ,

LDN is low dose naltrexone. It's an immune modulator. HBOT is hyperbaric oxygen chamber therapy. You may also be interested in the Yahoo group chelatingkids2.

Stan's son had seizures - he filmed one during a speech

session...diet changes that cut all c carbs, starches, grains, and

sugar...Paleo diet basically ended them apparently, now his son can

tolerate gfcf...and the seizing has never resumed...Di

My son had seizures. We did intensive diet and colon hydrotherapy.

When he was having seizures I often would give him an enema

immediately. We're successfully doing Hbot, in fact as I type my

son is in the chamber asleep.

I haven't seen a seizure in a long while. Have you checked into

diets like the ketogenic diet/ high fat diets? Not that you should

do that one, but people have completely recovered from seizures with

diet. You can learn more at Hopkin's.

I'm hearing a lot of kids on the spectrum with a sibling with seizure

disorder. I wouldn't do Hbot until the seizure issue is resolved.

All of this is step by step as it applies to your child and in what

phase of healing they are in. Some kids have worse gut issues, some

serious seizure issues. It's such a puzzle figuring out what your

child's main issues are and then what is the best approach. Overall

though diet will be key in this whole thing.

I knew gut was a big issue for my son because of my own body.
