Guest guest
As far as I know there is no such reg. One reason being that the VADs could also be bridge to recovery where the patient doesn't necessarily have to be transplanted. > > OK all you Heart folks out there. > > Is there a CMS regulations that indicates that a patient must be listed > for heart translant prior to an device implant (LVAD etc). > > If so, please direct me to the site. > > If not, please indicate so. > > THANKS!!! > > > JoAnne Cannone > Lead Patient Financial Liaison > University Transplant Program > 1725 W. on St. > Suite 161, Professional Building > Chicago, IL 60612 > Office: > Pager 85-6131 > Fax: > > ********************************************************************** ********************************************************************** *************************************** >
