Low CO2 and High succinate/a-ketogluterate?

My son's blood work came back with markers of very low CO2 and very

high succinate and alpha-ketogluterate (from his Metametrix ION test).

I know the high markers indicate fatique and mitchodrial dysfunction,

but I am unsure what the CO2 means. Is it related to ammonia?

Fatigue? Has anybody out there had these same issues and intervened

successfully? Thank you in advance for your help.
