Which is better Valtrex or acyclovir ?

I am getting ready to start my daughter on an antiviral, and my Doctor

ask me what I would prefer to try, Valtrex or acyclovir , so here am

to ask my panel of experts!

What are your experiences with them?

It just depends on the child, unfortunately.  I'm sorry I can't give you a better or worse scenario!  But I can tell you we've gone through Valtrex, Famvir, and Acyclovir.  Acyclovir brought the titers down but they are going back up and we are back on Valtrex.  For us, I'm finding that rotating them about every 6 months seems to be necessary.CherylI am getting ready to start my daughter on an antiviral, and my Doctorask me what I would prefer to try, Valtrex or acyclovir , so here amto ask my panel of experts! What are your experiences with them?TIA!http://autismshare.comClicking ads on this site helps to support the site and my daughter'streatment.
