Yeast Flare up- is this cause by viral die off?

I am treating my daughter with acyclovir and her yeast is flaring up,

my question is, is this caused by the viral die off or is it just

caused somehow by the medicine?

What I am hoping is the yeast flare is a sign that viruses are being

killed.
