Guest guest
Sure will, Di! Thanks so much. I have not given the boys anything laxative as of yet. So, I cannot blame gut pain on psillium. The gut pain came immediately as we began the parasite treatment. So, I know there were lots of parasite dying off. What I did not know is that they can clog you up as they die. Then when they were sick with the vomitting virus, they got dehydrated which contributed to renewed constipation issues for . They are drinking lots of water and doing better just have to clear up the clog. The boys did not heal on SCD alone because it does not teach proper combinations of foods and digestion shuts down if you try to feed starches with proteins and fruits that digest quicly with meats or other foods that take at least two hours to digest. I am confident with proper food combination ( once we get the colon initially cleansed) that the boys are going to really take off with BED with SCD principles. Will not use any grains and the boys hate the Cultured Veggies and I don't think they are ready for them yet any way. I am going to do fermented cabbage juice, fresh cabbage juice, and the YCK. Thanks for what you share as you continue to learn what works for your family!Dana and Garrett, just turned 4, SCD 2 yearsCeliac, ASD, Speech and Motor Apraxia, sensory processing disorder Subject: Re: Dana-re:oxypowder, I gave it to Matt...To: mb12 valtrex Date: Friday, June 20, 2008, 12:30 PM Please, Dana, at least give K in NY a listen bc he will prbably tell you that the gut pain was not related to parasite cleansing but the psillium in that product or other herbs. The soaked grains on the BED worry me. I do not knwo why SCD didn't work since it is designed to deal with UC and Crohns, though not yeast. Per K the only long term treatment for candida overgrowth is low carb diet and healing the gut...how he would do that in your kids I cannot say. Matt has also been on a bit of YCK with no problems and only good stuff...but K is NOT a fan of the CV for kids with big gut issues - he called that advice "an abomination" so there you go. He is worth contacting, though I cannot say if he will answer, and I have not properly implemented his suggestions yet with Matt bc they require Matt to drink fluids which he will NOT..it will take ABA no doubt to get his healing strategies on board. I think he is more right than wrong though about all the gut stuff with our kids. His responses always seem to make SENSE, you know?
