Guest guest
Adam is on cefzil for a sinus infection. His breath was awful. It stunk for two weeks before the green sinus drainage appeared. Never has a sinus infection smelled that bad. Now that he's been on an antibiotic for over a week, breath is much better. Adam was on augmentin for 9 days before starting cefzil today. Since his profuse vomiting started 1 hour after the first cefzil dose, I wonder if this is a coincidence? Anyway, our peditrician called our home health company and they brought out 200 cc of normal saline to make sure he was hydrated and some Zophran for nausea (Adam has a hickman catheter). They drew chemistry labs at the same time, and I just found out they were normal. I was afraid after all that vomiting and diareah he would be dehydrated. At any rate, he hasn't vomited/pooped since 2:30. I just gave the second dose of cefzil, pray that it's not what's making him sick; cause it will be a looonnnngg night.
