Guest guest
Several of you know I've been working on a serious " pet " project, that of turning the local 100% grass fed beef into the ultimate pet food. Wow, three long years of research later IT'S FINALLY DONE! I just got it into the very first store last Friday! The food is delicious for dogs, and is made from Thousand Hills Omega 3 fat beef, RAW, 5 kinds of organic sprouts RAW and about 20 of Jerry Brunetti's nutriceuticals~ It's high enough in Iodine, Selenium, Copper and Zinc to eliminate the need for vaccinations (except the legal rabies every 3 years), heartworm testing and preventative, worming, flea and tick meds and most vet visits (of course, the FDA won't allow medical claims so it's not on the label as such). Nonetheless, that saves a lot of money and pain. I'm working o the CAT version but for now merely add a pound of any good meat to a pound of the dog and it is perfect for cats! WHAT I NEED is for about 100 people to trickle into the CHUCK & DONS pet store over on Minnetonka Blvd, just past Lake Calhoun (In the Calhoun Village Shopping center where Barne's and Nobles bookstore is, MGM liquor and other shops) and BUY A POUND of my food~! If the product sells well, they will put me in all 13 of their stores. Real health food for dogs. The food is $3.99 a pound and one pound will satisfy a 65-70# dog for one day. Small dogs get a portion of that. The ALL RAW food is called RESTORATION RAW PET FOOD (see www.restorationrawpetfood.com) and it's in it's own freezer over along the wall. All help GREATLY APPRECIATED! Thanks a lot! Will Winter
Guest guest
Will - I have 3 cats, and eating raw meat upsets their digestion, but I'm worried that cooking the meat would mean they don't get enough taurine. Can you reassure me on that point? I currently give them a mixture of wet food and kibble... Guest guest
Hey Will, When I was at the warehouse last week, I bought a case of the dog food for our cat. I happened to have some raw ground beef that I needed to use up. I have been mixing it half and half with the dog food for my cat. Who knew that I was providing the right mixture for my cat!! Our cat is young and was raised on raw milk and meat on a farm, so she is used to a raw diet. She meows VERY loudly for your wonderful pet food every morning!! Congrats on the new pet food. I hope it takes off like wild fire! Therese
Guest guest
Very good Therese! You can mix beef, chicken, lamb, fish or any other quality meat. I forget to mention that there is a wealth of information about switching over and about the food on the website at www.restorationrawpetfood.com. It's OK to cook it a bit in the beginning if they reject it or if they are totally addicted to commercial food. Also animals in very pronounced geriatric age may need to have it at least partially cooked. Will Winter
