Hi. My son is going to have his adenoids out and I was wondering if

anyone knows what supps should be stopped prior to surgery. He is

taking- Probiotic

Kirkmans Spec. Complete

Vita-c

Transfer Factor

Magnesium Glycinate

Calcium

Taurine

B-12 shots

I stopped his CLO because I think I read that was one to stop. Any

advice would be greatly appreciated.

Our DAN told us to remove Essential Fatty Acids and Vitamin C prior to the surgery and to maintain B12 before and after. My son had both tonsils and adenoids removed. He no longer snores or has nighttime apnea. He is less of a mouth breather and he gets respiratory infections much less often. The recovery was BAD, very uncomfortable, but from what I understand, that's due more to the tonsils. Adenoids alone are supposed to be a piece of cake.
