Just taking a shot in the dark to see if anyone has a used Theratog vest or

something similar for our 10-month old, Lucy. She weighs about 21 pounds.

Since they are so expensive, we wanted to see if it will be useful before we

have one custom made for her. We will take a donation or pay for one:)

Also, we just confirmed what we suspected, and that is that Lucy is aspirating,

even with thickened liquids (we had a swallow study yesterday). My question

about this is, does a swallow study like this almost always lead to a G-tube?

Lucy hasn't had any infections and continues to gain weight, she is just always

congested after a meal. My wife and I feel like she has been aspirating for

about 6 months, but besides the choking and congestion during feeding, it

doesn't see to bother her. We are not " anti-tube " , I guess we are just trying

to figure out if that is where we are headed, or if there is a possibility that

this is something that might resolve on its own.

Doing to see Dobyns in December...Nervous and excited:) Also going to see an

ABM therapist in Black Mountain, NC. I guess we can truly say we are exploring

all options to help little Lucy at this point.

Subject: Rifton pacer gait trainer forearm prompts

Anyone have forearm prompts for a size small pacer gait trainer that they're

looking to sell? Kicking myself for not getting them with the insurance claim,

but wasn't sure they were gonna approve it and I didn't wanna press my luck.

Anyway, they're $400 a pair new so I thought I'd ask here if someone has them

available used. Thanks so much!!
