Guest guest
Thanks for sending the clarification on baby carrots! I always wondered why they tasted disgusting. Carrots are one veggie I've always insisted be organic - even before I knew what eating healthy was always about. Just within the past month I started having a taste issue with rainbow's organic carrots, and now I wonder if they use a similar treatment method. At present the only organic carrots I've found not to have that disgusting taste has been at whole foods. I seem to be the only one in my family who can even taste it. It would be nice to have other carrot options other than at whole foods...

Guest guest
Those little baby carrots in bags are actually big carrots cut up and shaved down to look like baby carrots. I have an irrational and intense hatred towards them. They've tasted like junk most every time I've tried them. I have seen some premium brand that are actually baby carrots mutilated and bagged too, but they are only fractionally better IMO. I have a lesser degree of hatred towards bagged lettuce, but I don't subscribe to that either. >> What do you know about lettuce in bags? Ever since eating carrots with nice, fresh tops, I will never go back to the other ones, especially the bagged ones. Terri -- Be Yourself @ mail.com!
