Guest guest
I bet someone out there can tell you what it stands for, but it is a sugar that is about half as sweet as white sugar and it feeds the good bacteria. For some reason, the candida yeast don't like it as much, but the good bacteria in your gut do. Maybe someone knows more. Some people who are trying to fight Candida in their gut, take supplements of it. Sometimes they take it in conjunction with their probiotic supplement. Don't even think about it trying to bake with it though because it is quite expensive. If you buy capsules of it, break them open and put it directly on your tongue becuase if you are on a diet to fight Candida, it will be the only sugar you are tasting for a while.
