Guest guest
The only book i supplemented with (1 book is rare for me) was called " tired of being tired " - it's a GREAT book on adrenal fatigue and I highly recommend it. Following the food recommendations in the back helped pull me out of my slump in only a few short months. Small details like knowing to reach for almonds instead of peanuts, etc. made a big difference. It also talks about biorhythms - SO, for example, if you need to nap at 1:00 vs 3:00 pm, this book can help identify where you are in the fatigue cycle. At my body recovered, my nap time slowly opened up.. from 1:00pm, then 2:00, 2:30, 3:00, 4:00, then any nap at that point forward was sheer laziness! . It was CRAZY observing my body's response to the modifications i made..... The book also raised my awareness regarding the role stimulants (caffeine, etc) and even genetic predisposition can play how our bodys handle the American gogogo philosophy..... http://www.amazon.com/Tired-Being--Lynn-Hanley/dp/0425184595/ref=pd_bbs _sr_1?ie=UTF8 <http://www.amazon.com/Tired-Being--Lynn-Hanley/dp/0425184595/ref=pd_bb s_sr_1?ie=UTF8 & s=books & qid=1223396530 & sr=8-1> & s=books & qid=1223396530 & sr=8-1 Good Luck! > Does anyone know of any good info on repairing adrenal function?
