Guest guest
I do that one almost every day. I brace the far end of the BW against something immovable and, while sitting, perform crunches either with the BW close to my chest or sometimes with arms extended. My abs are hard as a rock but unfortunately, it's going to take alot more than that to get that " 6-pack. " I also stand with the BW close to my leg and bend to that side and repeat for the other side. Another one is, while sitting in a chair with a solid seat, I place one end of the BW beside my hip and, while holding the other end with both hands, crunch down while twisting to the side that the BW is on at the same time. Good for the obliques. While sitting, and slightly leaning back with legs extended a little, put one foot on the bottom cable and the other foot under the top cable and bring the leg towards your chest and repeat with the other leg. This is good for the lower abs. I remember when reading magazines by Joe Weider, he would mention getting " washboard abs. " Perhaps one day, with better eating habits, I will. Guess I'll have to give up pasta, gravy, chicken and dumplings and....Taco Bell. (groan!) Guest guest
Hi, I've just started training again with the Bully after a 15yr absence ! I remember getting much better results in the abs exercises if I made a concious effort to pull-in and tighten the abs prior to doing the bully compression. This seems really put more stress on the abs, rather than the arms and shoulders. If you do this, I think you'll feel a difference after the first workout. Has anyone tried any devises advertised on TV, and, if so, what were results? Yesterday, I took the Bullworker, and, while sitting on a chair, placed the one end of the Bully in front of my feet, the other end in front of my chest, and I did two sets of 14 reps each bending forward while tightening my stomach, I am curious if this will have an effect. Has anyone else come up with their own exercises with Bullworker? Rich How low will we go? Check out Yahoo! Messenger’s low PC-to-Phone call rates. Guest guest
I've posted this before, but thought it worth posting again. In early 80s, my waist grew to 38". I was out of shape, but my waist really bothered me, so I pulled out the Bullworker X5 (I always have and still prefer the Model 3) and started stomach exercises with it, nothing else. Also, no diet or any other exercises (I was really lazy). In less than two weeks I lost 4" from around my waist. Amazing, unbelievable, but true. is correct in saying that we need to put in a concious effort when doing the exercises.
