Guest guest Posted September 3, 2008 Report Share Posted September 3, 2008 OK, I know this was a written rehearsed speech...but wow, is she articulate? I CAN'T WAIT for a VP Debate! She's going to walk all over Byden...he misspeaks as much as Bush does, and it's going to be a riot. And she made us a pledge...We WILL have an advocate in the White House (well across the street) I've kept pretty quiet about the back and forth stuff, but seriously...what does the VP really do? Break ties in the senate when there's a vote that is tied! IF and it's a strong 'IF' McCain dies, and she takes office...ok, she'll be a little busier...but heck, Obama's kids are little...if one of them was rushed to the hospital, he would hang up on Israel too! I didn't realize till tonight that Obama has not authored any legislation...or co-authored (correct me if I understood this wrong) Perhaps it is only the 'old dogs' that author legislation, like the 'Prenatally Diagnossed Conditions Act' etc. I also didn't know that he bowed out of voting one way or another 130 times WHILE HE WAS PRESENT!! Not being able to make a decision...and they have aides who advise them...is pretty huge when taking the high office.
