Guest guest
When things go wrongAs they sometimes willWhen the road you're trudgingSeems all uphillWhen the funds are lowAnd the debts are highAnd you want to smileBut you have to sighWhen Care is pressingYou down a bitRest if you mustBut Don't You QuitLife is queerWith its twists and turnsAs everyone of us sometimes learnsAnd many a failure turns aboutWhen you might have wonHad you stuck it out.Don't Give UpThough the Pace seems slow,You may succeed with another blow.Success is failure turned inside outThe silver tint ofThe clouds of doubt. And You never can tellHow close you areIt may be near when it seems so far.So stick to the fightWhen you're hardest hit...It's when things seem worstThat you must not quit. This is taken from a wall hanging that we've had hanging inour family bathroom for many years. It has always been afavorite of mine, as there have been many times when I've had what seemed at the time to many obstacles all at onceto deal with. In fact, I've read this poem so often, I almosthave it memorized. Unfortunately, it doesn't say who the authoris on it. If anyone know, please let me know, and I'll give proper credit to the author. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/AffirmationstoDe-Stress A positive thinking, positive affirmations support group, that empowers us with ways to sail through daily life stress.
