Janie,

We have not done NAET but I met a couple from Mass. at the rally in D.C. who attribute a large part of their 2 sons recoveries to NAET. They do SCD diet, supplements, natural forms of chelation and EEG (electro-something stimulation). They said once their boys had several food and environmental clearings under their belt, they started responding much better to all of their other interventions because they could finally tolerate their food and environment. They were passionate about NAET.

I'm just curious to see how many of you have tried the NAET (natural allergy elimination treatment). We have been doing it with our son for a little over 3 months now. I was a bit skeptical about it, but our practitioner can detect illnesses in our son before we even tell him the symptoms ie- ear infections, parasites, viruses etc. At one appointment our son was on Zithromax (from ped.) for possible strep, the NAET dr. told us to take him off of it because it was actually an allergy to pollen and NOT strep. After the treatment our son was better in 2 days without the antibiotics!! A friend of mine with an ASD daughter also goes to him. He is currently treating her for damage from mercury. Have any of you had success with this treatment?? I e-mailed the group about a month ago without much response coming back. We have seen some gains in language and social interaction but nothing spectacular. He tells us to be patient because it sometimes takes a number of treatments for the neurology to catch up. He assures us that he is responding well and gives us a great deal of hope toward recovery. He was trained in California with Dr. Nambudripad.
