Guest guest
Hello all. My name is Rich, and my son, 15 months old, is a compulsive spinner of all objects, especially cars. He's been doing t his for over 7 months now and though he does push cars the 'proper way' for a few seconds when prompted, he always returns to the spinning and tunes out for a long time. He loves books but spends most of the time flipping pages but can concentrate. He is sociable and smiles to all; gets upset if left alone and seems to enjoy nursery. He also says 3 or 4 words in Japanese (we live in Tokyo andwanted to bring him up bi-lingually). 1) Is compulsive spinning alone enough to justify getting help? 2) Are there any people doing ABA on their own? Is this possible. We haven't the money even if we find ABA specialists here. Sincerely Rich
