Guest guest
Hello and everyone, I sure don't think of Arizona as being cold?! Is it truly that cold there right now?! I think Charlene (one of our moderators) is an Arizona girl, if I'm not mistaken?! But, the ONLY TIME I was ever in Arizona (Mesa) was in July in 1979 and boy, WAS IT HOT?!!!!!!!!!!!! We were traveling with some friends who had a volkswagon with no air conditioning, and we were extremely miserable. Dry and hot! But, then it was a WONDERFUL trip for us, and brings me back wonderful memories! This was when my husband and I got married again "for the second time" -- what a celebration!! Love those wonderful memories! , thanks for taking me back down memory lane today!!!! We certainly appreciate all your prayers and wonderful good wishes! That is so thoughtful of you to think about everyone! (but, .... then you ALWAYS DO!) You are a sweetie, and a very cherished good friend! , stay warm! We miss you being away, ...but thanks for checking in with us while on your trip! Guest guest
Yes, we do get cold. The past couple of nights we have hit freezing temperatures, then during the day it gets to the 50's or 60's. Right now, for example, it's around 11:30 am Saturday and it just hit 60 degrees. I am sitting in the family room with the fireplace burning. In addition, you have to understand that the majority of us do not have appropriate outerwear. We deal with out extreme temperatures (whether it is 32 degrees or 120 degrees) by running from our car to our destination....always with either the heater or air conditioner on.
