Guest guest Posted January 20, 2008 Report Share Posted January 20, 2008 I raised a little cain yesterday because some nurse's aide gave my father some back talk and some other aide told him he had heart problems (false) and pneumonia (true) which sent him into panic mode so I had a talk with one of my dad's doctors and also with the nurse at the nurse's station. My father is to be put on a need to know basis. If he asks a question, he is to be told only what is necessary to answer the question and nothing more. If they have questions or wish to give more info, they are to call my dad's wife. My dad's wife got in touch with the nurse's supervisor and has told him to keep the smart aleck nurse out of my dad's room period and he's agreed. I got into some sort of relationship with a crazy woman in San Francisco that totally stressed me out until I ended it. Also I face surgery on my left elbow on Feb 5th and I will not be able to use my left hand after that for up to 2 months. Lots of stress but reading posts from this group and some positive mailing lists I joined is helping me.
