Guest guest
Mike, That sux...2 days/mo is NOT enough to deal with the side effects you're having! I am my husband's caregiver and the only Support Group he'll accept...his 2nd tx...4 weeks to go...Hooty Hoooo on that... I agree that you should go to the doc, get him to understand what's up... If you take your shot once a week, and don't work on Sat. or Sun., take it on Friday after supper. Then, they should give you every Monday off to allow you to get past the hardest part of the shot. That helped my husband a lot when he was able to do it that way at work. He slept all weekend and Monday and was ready to go on Tuesday. You hang in there...bitch as much as you want with us... I'll be the first one to say that it's hard on the family and friends around when the rages hit. But, I'll also be the first one to say that I understand and stand by you guys during this most trying time of your life. Please keep going forward. Things could always be worse. (hard to believe sometimes, but can be visualized if you try...things could always be worse)... And drink water...not tap water...filtered or bottled water w/o floride, etc. in it...lots of water helps dilute the affects and sore muscles. I wish I had something to stop the rages, but be sure they have you on an anti-depressant. No one should have to go thru tx w/o that kind of meds to help with your emotional state. Your doc should know that tho. Hope this helps... Hang in there... Dianna So Frustrated I'm sorry to be the big downer here but man, this crap is getting old. I'm so tired of being sore, sick, fatigued, easilly pissed off, frustrated over small things, yada yada etc.On top of having to deal with the side effects, now I find out that my FMLA was only set up to allow me to take two days a month off. Two days? There are people at my job who take two days off every month just for giggles. How could his idiot doctor suggest that on the form? What a f___in jerk!!!!! I hate that bastard with every fiber of my being.I'm one third through with this, the virus is responding, I haven't been fired, have a place to live, food in the fridge. I tell myself all this to remind me that life isn't all bad. But this treatment sucks, hard.Sorry for the bitcing and moaning,Mike Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile.
