Guest guest
Tonight I made Lynn's awesome hotdogs (I'm hooked!) along with the wonderful home made sauerkraut (so sorry, I can't remember who that was from - anyone?) and I was trying to figure out how to cook my potatoes when a great idea struck me. I gave up one of my favorites long ago (grandma's recipe for potato pancakes) because the only oils they cook up good in are bad oils, when it suddenly occured to me that I still had leftover bacon grease from Will's awesome bacon! It worked even better than regular oil, and the taste....heavenly! Add a little sour cream on top and they are darn near perfect! Mmmmmmm.....yummmy! I think this is the first time ever that I've over-eaten and I still feel GOOD! I'll definitely be doing alot more shopping at the warehouse. And as long as we're giving props - I was never really big on salmon because it always tasted kind of fishy to me, but Matt's smoked salmon is awesome! And 's cultures veggies, always a favorite of mine. I've been eating soooo good this week - I LOVE it! More, more, more, please!

Only difference was we fried the potatoes.....OK when I say we I mean my DH, in Sweetland tallow. He called them " Mc's " potatoes. The way they used to make them. My one yo and four yo have gone through my WHOLE WINTER'S supply of saurkraut in 3 weeks. Yesterday alone they had a whole jar. I have to make more this weekend. Guess they need more probiotics .
