Guest guest
Oh my goodness! When I went to a holistic MD in Southern California. He did acupuncture, IVs and homeopathy along with traditional medicine. He also offered colonics. Some of the treatments he came up with I would struggle with because of working in traditional medicine. That was one thing he knew that would absolutely refuse to do. The was really impressed with the results of acupuncture, not so much with the homeopathy. BTW he never figured out I was hypothyroid either even with all of his muscle testing, etc. Kim in No Texas From: Texas_Thyroid_Groups [mailto:Texas_Thyroid_Groups ] On Behalf Of Marcie Sent: Saturday, February 23, 2008 4:35 PM To: texas_thyroid_groups Subject: Attn: Jan - Amusing reading re:coffee enemas!!! http://www.dcdoctor.com/dc/tx/scottchiropracticwellness_com/p/fs_aboutus.html Once on this site, click on patient downloads, then click on the Castor Oil Packs and COFFEE ENEMAS section. I knew that I had read about this but could not remember where! I came across it today! I remember a doctor saying that people put coffee in the wrong end! It explains about helping to cleanse the liver. Not something that I can do, but it might be a thought for people who have been taking lots of synthetic drugs. Guest guest
The father of a friend was dying of stomach cancer. She said that coffee enemas really helped him. OK. Pain meds are very constipating. Beyond that I am not too sure about this stuff."K. Hanson, CTR" wrote: Oh my goodness! When I went to a holistic MD in Southern California. Guest guest
Dr Gonino wanted me to do a coffee enema along with a whole bunch of other stuff. I did almost all of his recommendations except the coffee enema and the gallbladder cleanse (I read one report of a woman who felt she had no gallbladder problems who did the cleanse and ended up being rushed to the ER to have emergency gallbladder removal - I said no thanks after that). Just couldn't bring myself to do the enema. My nutritionist also wanted me to do one, saying a lot of symptoms would be relieved pretty much immediately but I still refused. Thank goodness Dr Owens hasn't mentioned it. Maybe it does help but there are just limits I guess to what I'll do to feel better. hee Jul > The father of a friend was dying of stomach cancer. Guest guest
One of the symphony ladies I know was taking the coffee enemas. I asked her if she took it black or with cream and sugar. She said she was told to take it with sugar. . . . . At the time there were about half a dozen of my colleagues who were seeing a chiro who did the high colonics and asked folks to do the coffee enemas in between. It may have done them some good. They were all the anal retentive types. . . . . Which reminds me of my comparative religion prof at USC, J. Wesley Robb, who spoke of Oral , his brother Anal, and their little sister. . . . uh. . . . Genavieve. . . . Jul wrote: Dr Gonino wanted me to do a coffee enema along with a whole bunch ofother stuff.
