Guest guest
We just got back from our first visit to Dr. Rao. Very very impressed. We had the parent meeting first. We (the grandparents) waited in the waiting room with the child. Then they took him in and did blood work (not pretty to hear). My son layed down on the table and wrapped our little one in his arms while they took his blood. They use a very small needle and it does not hurt them. It mostly scares them. After it was over our little one said.. " I did it " " I did it " . He was very proud of himself. He added folinic acid and B12 to our regiment of omega3 and Enzymes. He sent us home with a ton of Urine test to perform. All in all we are becoming smarter and smarter. While in the waiting room we met another couple that had been coming to Dr. Rao for 7 months. I ask them how they liked the doctor. The mother said... " He is wonderful " then she told me that she herself is a GP doctor. That sealed it for me. If a doctor trust Dr. Rao with her son, I knew he had to be good. Also I understand that Dr. Rao himself has a son on the spectrum. He referred several times to " Our Kids " . Hope this helps. > > > > I was able to get an appointment for myself and Charlie this month. I > > asked some of the parents whose children are in TAP with Charlie but > no > > one has seen him.
