Dear Lynda,

I am wondering what you mean exactly when you say " there is not more

freedom in my life in releasing some imminent fears. " It might help

to be more specific...(I mean, it might help me/us to understand

where you are coming from, anyway)

What kind of freedom in your life are you looking for

(specifically)? And what does that look like to you?

Also, I find the phrase " some imminent fears " to be quite vague. Why

not choose the most loaded fear you can make contact with right now

(not theoretical, but *actual*) and try the Work on that?

Looking forward to what you come up with,

Take care,

Kheyala

Ok. I hear that you use your anger to get freedom. Does it work?

How can you release fears? Love them.

Can you control it? If not, it's God's business.

You just said it: free and present. I really do not know. Turn that

around.

Another one you seem to be attached to forever.

I get: " I look forward to my imminent fears "

What is fear? How do you react? How does your body react? Can you

absolutely know it is fear?

  • 3 years later...

I actually think was pretty good at calling back - I think they get so busy the probably forget. I had the same problem last week.... I put a call in Monday afternoon and didn't hear back from the nurse - I finally called back Wednesday and spoke to ... she said she'd call me back... I heard from her Thursday night and missed her call and was FINALLY able to talk to her Friday morning... so yeah, it took a whole week :o( I'm sure they are super busy, so my advice would be to just keep trying.Jacq wrote: You know.....I've been seeing Dr. R for over a year...more like a year and half.....and everytime I call his office for some reason.....I'm always given the same answer "someone will call you

back"....I asked for Sharon to call me back and said it would be ........no one calls me back.......it was the same story when was there......what's up with that?

I have had varying response times over the 3 years I've been seeing

Dr. . They are a family practice and also take on us hormone

cases. I think a very busy practice like theirs has to deal with

crises all day long like heart issues, pulmonary, etc. and when we

call with concerns but not crises, we just have to be prepared for

delays. I think they expect us to use our local primary care and

specialist physicians for anything other than thyroid and certainly

for emergencies. If you have urgent issues, then I think all you can

do is tell Theresa that it is, indeed, urgent, and what the problems

are, and wait for a call back. If you get to the point of distress,

you will have to call your pcp or go to the emergency room. But,

other than that, you'll have to monitor and just call back in a

reasonable time. Early on, when I was full of " am I dying? "

uncertainty and had ongoing panic attacks, I would call and sometimes

I got right away, sometimes he would call back after hours, and

other times it would be a day or two. I learned that if it really

wasn't that urgent, and I told Theresa so, I would just wait a few

days and if I didn't hear from anyone I would call back. They are

very busy, from what I can surmise, not only from new local as well

as west Texas area patients for their family practice, but from more

and more of us thyroid and hormone cases.(I will never forget that

post from Sharon describing what it was like during a regular day in

the office!) I think we just have to evaluate how urgent our issues

are, and what is a reasonable period of time to hear back based on

that. And if you feel enough time has elapsed, just call them again.

That's all you can do.
