Hello all,

Thank you all for your support in this project. For all therapists

who will be working with our families, we will be holding our first

training sessions on the following dates/times:

Sunday, Feb. 8, from 4-8pm

Wed, Feb. 11, from 7-10pm

Sunday, Feb. 15, from 4-8pm

All our therapists are required to attend. Dr. Olive, BCBA,

will be conducting the training sessions. We will be covering basics

of ABA, and its application to the children we work with, data

collection, graphing, and collaborative teaming.

Parents are encouraged to send any therapist(s) currently working

with your children to attend - whether they are self-employed, or

employed through another clinic/agency, so we can all be working off

the same information.

We would also like to extend an invitation to therapists who are not

working with our families, but would be interested in additional

training in ABA and its applications in working with children with

autism. If you know of anyone who might be interested, feel free to

forward this email along. Getting more therapists well-trained and

out there working with families is our goal.

For those therapists who are interested in pursuing BCBA

certification, we recommend the , Heron & Heward

textbook " Applied Behavior Analysis " as a reference text/study

guide. Here is a web site that offers it on a discount:

http://www.directtextbook.com/prices/067520223X

Purchase of this textbook is not required.

Attendance fees:

Free for therapists working with families for whom we are providing

service.

$15 per session for therapists who are interested in training, but

are not working with one of our families.

Location:

3001 Bee Caves Road

Ste 301

Austin, TX
