We purchased (cheap) milk crates from Target. Target also has mesh

metal square containers that work well for crates. Thus, the

categorized foods can be lifted out easily to access those stocked

on the bottom. We buy a large quanity of milk/per trip and freeze

(leave air space!) in half gallon canning jars; which, jar and

milk/broth/any liquid, need to be cooled to 40 or less degrees

before freezing or jar will crack). Those, six per crate, rest on

the freezer bottom. Broth (again, leave air space and cool to 40

degrees!) replaces milk as supply is used. The crates on the next

level house meats (gr. beef, liver, and other small meat packages

together; lg. roasts, poultry, etc., in others). The top sliding

baskets (designed with freezer) contain veggies, fruits, small broth

containers.

You'll be amazed at what you can organize into even a mid size deep

freeze with proper containers. Happy stocking.
