Obama? Autism vaccines

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know what Senator Obama's stance is on the Autism bill? I

heard on the news that he has a pharmaceutical lobbyist on his staff

although he said this person is a state and not federal lobbyist. Not

that it makes me feel any better. Also I would be curious as so why the

" New " evidence against vaccines and autism is allowed to be printed when

it's full of holes. Do any of you really think that research is not

going forward because researchers are concentrating on vaccines? I think

the drug companies would love anything else to be causing this and would

be working very hard to find an answer that they can develop life long

drugs for. Even better say that genes are responsible, there is nothing

you can do so go home and do ABA and pray. Only when it happens to

someone close to you (and now there are so many of us you can't turn

your cheek) suddenly that answer doesn't seem acceptable. I've always

thought that autism needs to affect every extended family in some way

for the research and the cries for help to really be heard. We have 60

or so kids on our street and 4 of them have autism under the age of 12.

One in 150? That's a joke I think it's higher and until some real

progress is made we'll be vaccine free just in case.

I don't believe we live in a Genetic cesspool it's just not

scientifically possible for these kinds of numbers to happen spontaneously.
