Last year, you spoke with the ASTS Executive Director, Katrina Crist, and facilitated a survey the ASTS was conducting to determine the impact of DonorNet on individual institutions. The feedback formed the basis of ASTS comments submitted to OPTN/UNOS in March 2008 (see attached) and continued dialogue. Now that we are over 18 months into the program, the ASTS leadership has asked the Scientific Studies Committee to conduct a follow-up survey to re-evaluate the system with special focus on program size, the impact of high sequence number (previously turned down) offers and the impact on outcomes.

Once again, we would be interested in hearing from TFC and tx administrators and would be appreciative if you could forward the survey to the appropriate people. Here is a link:
