Did he get some benefit he did not have. One of our patients took the plan for dental. I would think he would have been better off with Medicare and QMB as he could go anywhere and get whatever he needed done with no copayments and/or dedutibles. Beverly A. Guest guest Posted December 11, 2008 Report Share Posted December 11, 2008 Amy, I had a patient who was told his Advantage plan would be much better in terms of following him etc. I advised him to switch back to his traditional Medicare and Medicaid and it worked out great for him.
