Guest guest
Today is the day I start my 72 weeks of treatment. This will likely be rough on my wife as well as on me. Since the topic had come up, I've been thinking about visualizations. As a psychologist, I know there is power in picturing your disease being defeated, but I had not practiced this before. I'm doing things differently this time. For about a year I had played the online game " World of Warcraft " (WOW). My character was a Night Elf Druid. Among his powers was the ability to turn into a bear and to summon three tree spirits to help. Hep C is often referred to as " fighting the dragon. " I've fought dragons in WOW. Now I can picture my Night Elf Druid fighting the Dragon of Hepatitis C with the help of my tree spirits. m
