This sort of thing is controversial for some but I feel that many

parents would be interested in viewing the information. For me, I am

not ready to jump on this wagon but I have been watching this thing

unfold with great interest. The lady who developed this is on another

listserv that I am on as well as some parents who are using the

protocol.

Dear Family and Friends,

This has been an exciting year to say the least. Some of you know that

we have been working toward a treatment for Down syndrome and we are

ecstatically announcing that it has been developed and working. A few

things have come about:

1) Initiated a small clinical trial with 6 kids using this treatment

protocol - in 6 months it showed 8 - 20% improvement in nonverbal IQ.

2) Made a documentary chronicling the treatment and the success (no

kidding a full length movie) isn't that crazy? It is titled 'Changing A

Mind'

To view a trailer go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FzKbalIqROY

3) The best part is that Neal is doing so much better. He is really on

a second grade level !!!!!! He is verbal and full of himself.

4) The documentary was accepted into the New York Film Festival and

will be shown Saturday, September 20th at 2 PM

Anyone who can come, please support us. tickets available at

www.nyfilmvideo.

com

Location Village East Cinema

181 2nd Ave. at 12th street

Will you please forward this to everyone in your address book because

this treatment can help so many people with Down syndrome?

Please keep this going

Love to all,

& Tim Cashion
