Guest guest
Well gang, I just received from , the Pal/Secam VHS Bullworker training video that he has donated to our group. I think deserves a round of applause and a hearty thanks from everybody on this EG. Anyway here's the situation... we now need to organize the conversion of the Pal/Secam tape to NTSC format or a universally accessible digital format. So now is the time to step forward and help the group. I know that there are some members of our EG who have already volunteered to have the tape converted, but I'd like to first try and see if we can get the video tape converted in the US or Canada as that is closer to me personally. I live in the Hudson valley so we are less than a couple of hundred miles from Canada, and I think that Canada uses Pal/Secam and NTSC. So Canada might be a good place to go shopping for video conversion services. Ideas anyone? So.....Is there anybody out there that: 1.) Has access to any method of reading/writing/dubbing and or converting a Pal/Secam VHS, to either NTSC VHS, or to a standard universally accessible digital format like avi, mpg, wmv, wmf, mov, etc... 2.) Knows of a local (to the US and/or Canada) professional service that can do either. Once we've solved that problem, then we can organize some kind of lending library type arrangement... I'd definitely like to hear from the group any ideas how such a lending library ought to be organized. All the best gang! , you rule!!!!
