Is anyone in Austin doing anything similar to this. It sounds like a wonderful

Where Dreams become Reality!

Cody's Field of Dreams is an exciting opportunity for children with special

needs or handicaps from four years of age to sixth grade to participate in a

baseball camp. The baseball camp will be led by a diverse group of volunteers

from all over the community. The baseball training is not designed to be

competitive, but rather a time of fun and friendship building. During the camp,

each child will be assigned a " Buddy " who will assist them throughout the

practices and the final game.

Parents will also be encouraged to assist with the camp, but it is not

necessary. Listed below is the schedule of events and some of the exciting

details of our third annual Cody's Field of Dreams.

· Wednesday April 18, 2007

(Pick-up jersey & yard sign at SJBC West Campus from 6:00-8:00pm)

· Thursday April 24, 2008 - Practice 1 - 6-8pm

· Tuesday April 29, 2008 - Practice 2 - 6-8pm

· Thursday May 1, 2008 - Practice 3 - 6-8pm

· Sunday May 4, 2008 - Game at DPHS Varsity Baseball Field - 1-4 pm

· Wednesday May 7, 2008 - Closing Ceremony at SJBC West Campus
