Guest guest
I would just like to send everyone our newly revised description so you can be refreshed on what we are all about. I am really proud of how this list has evolved and how we can discuss our views. We have some great members and I would love to see more. But if you simply want to take in the information without posting, that is ok too. What I do not want is people who are afraid to post. If you ever feel attacked or unjustly treated please feel free to email me or any of the other moderators. Looking for a place to discuss heated political topics? What about a list that addresses political issues and how they relate to people with special needs? If that is what gets your fingers flying off the keyboard, than this is the list for you. We've created a place to express your views about the election, the candidates, and politics in general. We work hard to make sure this list remains a safe place to discuss your views, in a civil and open environment. So please remember, lively discussions are welcome, but personal attacks are not. There are three great moderators here to help everyone keep the peace. Elections are an exciting time to learn the process, and to debate the issues, so jump right in! This group is an off-shoot of another great list called the DownSyndromeInfoExchange. Please Note: Posts may be moderated (as necessary) and may not post immediately. Any posts that exceed the obscenity or stupidity limits will be either edited or expunged. , Mom to Phoebe 3 Ds and cystic fibrosis, and Nolan 6, speech delay Proud wife to Steve, the love of my life... phoebe updates here “A mind is a fire to be kindled, not a vessel to be filled.” —Plutarch (46-137), historian, biographer, essayist “When there is no enemy within, the enemies outside cannot hurt you.” —African Proverb
