It would probably be very expensive (I do medical transcription). Are you using cassette tapes or digital recording? You can get a WAV pedal if you are doing digital recordings from _http://www.bytescribe.com_ (http://www.bytescribe.com) They cost about $100 but it is must less expensive than having someone transcribe them for you. If you are using tape, you can go on EBay or some of the medical transcription sites to see if someone has an old transcriber for regular or microcassettes. The benefits of a transcriber (whether tapes or via a WAV file) is that you put your foot on the pedal and only get as much voice as you can type. Most of them have a backspace feature which will backspace a word or two when you put your foot back on the pedal. Hilda **************Start the year off right. Guest guest
Thanks for your feedback Hilda, I kinda thought it might be expensive. I guess regardless of which method you use, Transcribing these tapes is gonna be tedious - I thought if it wasn't too too expensive it would be worth looking into. Thank you.
